Last week four Baylis Vauxhall sites in Gloucestershire appeared on the Mark Cummings County Quiz on BBC Radio Gloucestershire testing their knowledge on all things Gloucestershire. Baylis are the name for Vauxhall in Gloucestershire and have sites in Cheltenham, Gloucester, Stroud and Cirencester as well as a further four sites in Herefordshire and Worcestershire.
So it all kicked off on Tuesday when Baylis Cheltenham scored an impressive 10.5 out of 12 for a very promising start to the week, that day our wildcard was Julie Kent from Pied Piper Appeal who we have worked with in the past so it was great to have a friend of Baylis on our side that day. Then came the turn of Baylis Gloucester who didn’t fair quite as well scoring a middle of the road 6 out of 12 but the questions were tricky. Day three saw the turn of Baylis Stroud who fared better with a solid 10 out of 12 and then on the final day Baylis Cirencester romped home with 11 out of 14.
So overall Baylis Vauxhall scored a total of 37.5 out of 50 for the week which all involved can be chuffed with. Along the way we had Dave and Andy as a permanent fixture, Wes popped up for a couple of days to give a helping hand and even Elvis was there for the last quiz, well before he left the building that is! Many laughs and even a sing song at the end topped off a great week.
Thanks to all who took part and we hope all listening enjoyed it as much as we did.
