Who you are:

  • Have 3 years experience in people management (line management to mid- management level)
  • Proven leader with a charismatic persona and good emotional intelligence
  • Target driven and ambitious
  • Experience in coaching people with the ability to adapt their style to suit individual needs
  • Strong business analytic skills, identifying any issues and taking the necessary action
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets
  • Strong administrative skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Exceptional phone etiquette and communication skills
  • Proficient in math for analysing sales data and forecasting
  • Knowledge of stock management principles is a plus

As the Sales Manager:

  • You will be a proven leader, with strong team development and communications skills.
  • You must be able to coach and motivate the team to exceed sales and financial targets.
  • You will have a proven record of delivering excellent customer service

Main Duties

  • Exceed the monthly financial net profit target
  • Ensure your team deliver outstanding customer experience
  • Responsible for a team of Sales Representatives
  • Consistently live the company's core values and instil this in your team members
  • Controlling the Baylis sales process
  • HR duties for the sales department
  • Managing the used car stock portfolio- including cleaning/preparation and pricing
  • Used car digital presence and marketing, keeping the website stock up to date and ensuring a high quality of imagery
  • Purchasing and disposal of used car stock alongside the group used car purchaser
  • Cost/expense control
  • Reporting and analysing departmental accounts

Full UK Driving license is required
