Baylis Motor Group was established in 1994, when Michael Baylis purchased the Gloucester branch of Vauxhall retailer Skipper. Since then, Baylis has grown to become one of the largest and most trusted motor groups across Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, Worcestershire and South Wales.
In January 2022, we expanded into South Wales by acquiring the Vauxhall franchise in Merthyr Tydfil from Southern (Merthyr) Ltd, further strengthening our network and presence in the region.
More recently, we’ve continued to grow our network with the addition of our Suzuki dealership in Staverton, which also provides Kia aftersales support. Our latest expansion sees us bringing Mitsubishi and Leapmotor to a new site in Westgate, Gloucester, giving customers even greater choice and access to our growing range of automotive brands.
