Vehicle Technician - Cheltenham

We currently have a Technician position at our Cheltenham dealership.

Who you are:

You will have gained at least three years’ experience of working on light vehicles
Have at least a level 2 Light vehicles MOT test qualification
Prefer to work in a team environment.
Manage the time allowed for each job to ensure deadlines are met.
Keep a tidy work area.
Attention to detail.
Customer-focused.
Enjoy being busy
Hold a driving licence

As the Vehicle Technician:

You will ensure the safety, reliability, and longevity of vehicles, providing essential services that keep vehicles running efficiently and safely on the road.
Comply with health and safety standards to include ongoing training
You will have a comprehensive broad base of technical knowledge to service and repair the various vehicle systems.

Main Duties:

Confirm reported vehicle issues, decide on what is required and fix the concern
Diagnostics and Troubleshooting
Carry out routine repairs and maintenance to vehicles
Complete vehicle health checks combined with a video presentation of the condition
Advise on any future work that may be identified
Keep up to date with technology changes by completing regular manufacturer training

Working Hours and Salary

Full-time, Permanent

Monday to Friday 08.30 to 17.00 and alternate Saturday mornings 08.30 to 12.30

Salary: £24k - £40K OTE
