The Baylis Group have long been associated with charity work, in 2018 over £7,000 was raised by staff with many of those charities being local. Baylis have just taken a step further with supporting great local causes by allowing staff to not only donate their monthly charity prize funds, but also spend a day with that charity volunteering to make a real difference.
The Baylis leadership team fully understand the benefits of staff volunteering, not only are Baylis staff helping great local causes, but they have the pleasure of making their local community a better place, working with a real sense of connection and purpose with a charity that means a lot to them, with some all important fun along the way..
April's charity winner Matt Booth from Baylis Worcester, chose Forest Dog Rescue in Worcestershire as his nominated charity and spent the day with them looking after the many dogs they have on site which is a safe haven for unwanted, abandoned and mistreated dogs from across the Midlands. Great work Matt, we look forward to many more Baylis volunteering days throughout the year and beyond!
