Working Hours: Monday to Friday 09:30am – 6:30pm and 1 in two Saturday mornings will be 8:30am-12:30pm.

The Baylis Group has a fantastic opportunity for a bright, enthusiastic person who has a professional and confident telephone manner with experience in a customer service environment.

The role is a full time position that may suit someone who would prefer to work flexible/unusual hours including some Saturday mornings. The set weekly hours will be Monday to Friday 09:30am – 6:30pm and 1 in 3 Saturday mornings will be 08:30am-12:30pm.

Primarily, this essential job involves inbound and outbound telephone contact with our customers, marketing our products and services and secure booked appointments into our nine branches, for our Sales and Service departments.

Working within a small energetic team based at our Cheltenham Dealership, the position also encompasses database work and other admin duties.

The applicant will ideally:-

  • Have an excellent telephone manner and the ability to make customers feel at ease on the telephone.
  • Be enthusiastic and dedicated to always meet daily requirements and exceptional levels of customer service at all times.
  • Be committed, with a positive attitude and work effectively as part of a team.
  • Work in a timely fashion, sometimes under pressured circumstances or tight time frames.
  • Be self-motivated and complete the workload.
  • Be a confident communicator that will develop and maintain strong relationships with colleagues and customers in order to maximise bookings and sales.
  • Be eager to learn new skills and tasks whilst developing knowledge of products and in-house systems.
  • Have a good standard of spelling, grammar, numeracy and keyboard skills.
