Dynamic Drive & Superior Handling 

Feel connected and in control with a carefully engineered lightweight chassis and optimised weight distribution to improve responsiveness, ride and handling.

The five-link rear suspension provides superior stability over bumps whilst improving driving comfort. This, coupled with the minimal body roll helps the MGS5 EV feel responsive and stable on even the most challenging roads.

The MGS5 EV is equipped with a choice of two motor options, a 125kW and  170kW, with the latter powering the rear wheels to accelerate from 0-62 mph in just 6.3 seconds

New Generation Battery with Rapid Charging

Our latest ultra-slim battery technology allows for rapid DC charging, from 10-80% in 28 minutes or less and supports up to 298 mile WLTP range. The MGS5 EV’s 400V system means you can rapid charge in speeds up to 139kW.

It’s longer lasting too. This third-generation battery is designed for high charge retention, even at fast charging speeds. gives you better performance and an even longer lifespan, all while taking up less space – so there's more room for everyone.

Up to 298-mile WLTP Range

​Free yourself from range anxiety with our new generation battery that supports a driving range of up to 298 mile WLTP combined. The standard-equipped Kinetic Energy Recovery System (KERS) comes with four energy recovery modes (Low – 1. Medium – 2, Strong – 3, Adaptive – A ) plus One Pedal Mode, offering modes for every driving condition whilst enhancing efficiency. Go explore those open roads.​

12.8" HD Touchscreen

A 12.8-inch HD touchscreen serves as a central infotainment feature. Designed to be highly intuitive, with simple functionality. From setting your satnav to picking your favourite tune, a quick tap of the screen is all it takes.

You can even enjoy your favourite apps like Spotify and YouTube on the MGS5 EV’s big screen with its new integrated applications feature, standard in our Trophy model.

Wireless Connection and Charging

You can even charge your smartphone on the go with a wireless tray located conveniently in the centre console on our Trophy model.

Packed with Safety as Standard - Drive with confidence, knowing your vehicle is built to meet the highest safety standards. All models include seven airbags: front, side, curtain, and a central airbag, all set within a reinforced steel frame chassis for extra protection.​

Stopping Power - The MGS5 EV features a high-performance stopping power through an advanced braking system developed in partnership with Continental, AP and Bridgestone. The upgraded system is capable of braking from 100-0km/h in 35.5 meters to outperform most sector rivals. 

360° HD Surround View Camera - Eliminate blind spots with the 360° HD Surround View Camera available on our Trophy model. Four wide-angle cameras reveal a full view of what's around the car, ultrasonic sensors alert you to obstructions, and dynamic reversing assist helps you park at the perfect angle.

Our Advanced Driving Assistance Systems (ADAS) keep you connected, in control, and prepared for whatever the journey may bring.
