About Baylis Peugeot

The Baylis group came into being in 1994 when Michael Baylis purchased the Gloucester branch of the retailer Skipper. Since then, the business has consistently grown, becoming one of the largest motor groups in the three counties of Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, Worcestershire, and now South Wales. In January 2022, Baylis acquired the Vauxhall franchise for Merthyr Tydfil from Southern (Merthyr) Limited, who had successfully represented the brand in South Wales since 1998. This took the number of branches to nine. 2024 saw Baylis add Peugeot to our Cheltenham Branch in a new venture.

An ongoing program of modernization and expansion has seen the complete refurbishment of our sites. Brand new purpose-built facilities were constructed, demonstrating a commitment to customer care by providing modern showrooms and comfortable reception areas. There has also been a major investment in new technology behind the scenes, especially in equipping the workshops, parts operations, and body shops.

At Baylis, we’re proud to represent Peugeot at our dealership. Not only do we supply the latest models, but we also lease some of the best examples for our Motability customers – and for businesses big and small.

Our prices are competitive across the board – but if you require an even greater bargain, why not choose one of our top-quality pre-loved vehicles? We have more than 400 models manufactured by an array of automakers available right now.Our manufacturer-trained technicians are primed and ready to provide a full range of servicing, repairs, and MOT-testing solutions – at prices you can comfortably afford.
